Collective project | Artist Book | Dortmund 2021

Description
In the winter of 2020/2021, during the height of the COVID pandemic, a collaborative project emerged with the artists Eno de Wit and Jonas Maximilian Wenz, focussing on the feeling of melancholy Inspired by the general mood and our own emotional state at that time.

As melancholy is a deeply personal feeling with individual associations on a visual, auditory and haptic level, we
decided to make the project participatory in order to illuminate diverse perspectives. We collaborated with fellow artists from the Ruhr Area in Germany. The project stands for creative engagement with a complex theme and collaborative exchange in a time of isolation.

The collected works were published in a book entitled “Ich will glaub ich heute in ne Kneipe geh‘n” (’I think I wanna go to the pub today’).
